Raising six children gave our founder, Mary Jane Thomas, deep insight into the struggles of maintaining a healthy home and diet for a busy family. Throwing together a quick meal or grabbing a healthy snack is impossible when you can't get your hands on the items you need. That's why Mary Jane is passionate about transforming women's kitchens into a space that brings them joy and supports a healthier lifestyle.
MJ started by humbly helping her daughters organize their own pantries years ago. Due to word of mouth, that work quickly expanded to helping friends of her friends until her eldest daughter finally prompted her to turn that love of organizing into an official business. Now, women all across Northwest Louisiana can tap Mary Jane's expertise and organizing magic through that business, A Happy Pantry.

What is A Happy Pantry?
A Happy Pantry is a service business providing bespoke pantry organization, deep cleaning, and shelf styling to busy homeowners in the Shreveport and Bossier City areas. We are passionate about bringing calm to the kitchen chaos and giving women a beautiful pantry they can be proud to show off.
How does your service work?
We first come to your kitchen for a free design consultation to measure your pantry, get a feel for your kitchen style, and discuss your family's specific food storage needs. Then we will follow-up that first meeting with a detailed design board and quote for the pantry transformation of your dreams.
We make our process as convenient and easy for you as possible. You pay only 25% upfront and can schedule a time that works best for your family to be away from the house for at least 4 hours. You return home to the fun reveal of your cuter, calmer pantry!
How much does it cost?
Our pricing varies depending on the size of your pantry, which in turn dictates the number of storage containers, decor items, and hours needed to complete your project. We offer a base service to fit your needs and budget, with optional add-ons to enhance your experience and make your pantry even happier.
The cost of $16 per linear foot of shelving is determined by measuring your shelves at the initial design consultation. For example, a pantry containing 5 shelves each measuring 4 feet in length would be considered 20 total linear feet. Please feel free to contact us for more information.
Do you offer closet organization?
Unfortunately, we don't currently offer clothes closet organization. Our focus is on pantries, kitchens, and laundry rooms. However, we do offer organization of refrigerators, under-sink cabinets, junk drawers, dining hutches, buffets and sideboards, etc., as add-ons to our core pantry styling service, which many homeowners find helpful.

We are located in Bossier City, Louisiana. We provide pantry, kitchen, and laundry organization services for most of Northwest Louisiana, including Shreveport, Bossier City, Benton, Stonewall, Haughton, Minden, Greenwood, Keithville, and even Ruston. We service Caddo, Bossier, Webster, DeSoto, Bienville, Red River, and Lincoln Parishes, along with some of Northeast Texas.

What does the price include?
The Happy Pantry Plan includes a deep cleaning and sanitization of your pantry with all-organic cleaning solution and microfiber towels containing antibacterial colloidal silver. We take everything out of the pantry, thoroughly clean the interior and contents, and then begin our organizing magic. We incorporate modern storage options that match your existing kitchen decor and make your food items more easily visible and accessible. Based on your family's needs, we will put the healthier food choices front and center and within easy reach of little hands. Even the floor will get a makeover!
The best part (included for no additional charge) is the satisfaction and joy you feel every time you open the pantry door and see your newly styled shelves. No longer will you have to run to close the pantry door when the doorbell rings!
